The first edition of Marathon 7500 competition, organized by CPNT Brasov, has come to an end.
64 teams registered of which only 61 started.
Of these, 24 managed to get to the finish line of approximately 88 kilometers and 7700 meters altitude difference: 12 masculine teams, 2 feminine teams and 10 mixed teams.
The winners were:
Masculine:
1st place (23h 56 min): Galiteanu Ionut and Palici Viorel (1000 RON + 200 RON on behalf of Eco Bucegi + 2 bivouac sleeping bags on behalf of Sport Virus)
2nd place (24h 41 min): Clinciu George Lucian si Orleanu Mihai (700 RON)
3rd place (25h 34min): Suciu Simion and Bogya Tamas (500 RON + Sponser prize for making the podium inspite of the injuries sustained by one of the teams member during the competition)
Feminine:
1st place (34h 54min): Silvia David and Cornelia David (1000 RON + 2 CamelBags on behalf of Sport Virus)
2nd place (49h 01min): Popa Georgiana Camelia and Preoteasa Cosmina Elena (700 RON)
Mixed:
1st place / 2nd place (26h 03min): Tanase Alin and Tanase Gianina / Fodor Alexandru and Fodor Elena (1000 RON + 700 RON + sweatshirt and Tshirt on behalf of Sport Virus)
3rd place (27h 11min): Spulber Dan Georgian and Dan Andreea Codruta (500 RON)
Also, the teams that finished the race were awarded with Tshirts and water mellons
